The reader gets hooked from the beginning. Cheryl offers a lot of twists and turns. If you think you have found the answer, another twist comes up. Joss is also in the same predicament and the ending is a surprise as that’s how mysteries are supposed to be. It also has some family drama and tensions in the relationships both the writers have.
